Elevated above the Wailua River, this 3-bedroom, 2-bath single-level home with detached 1-bedroom, 1-bath guest house sits on a rim lot overlooking the river valley, creating a peaceful, haven-like setting. The sound of the river from the canyon below and the elevated view from this rim lot carry a stillness that is increasingly rare on Kauaʻi. Recently refreshed, the main home features custom imported tile, a resurfaced fireplace, new Bali-crafted wood railings, updated flooring, and AC throughout. Vaulted ceilings and skylights fill the space with natural light. The kitchen — Wolf range, granite countertops, generous prep space — opens to the dining nook and living area for an intuitive flow. Indoor and outdoor living come together with walls of sliding glass doors opening to the lanai. A gunite saltwater pool with a waterfall and a separate hot tub anchors the flagstone lanai, framed by mountain and canyon views. The outdoor spa-like experience is complete with a steam room and lava rock outdoor shower. The primary suite was thoughtfully reconfigured to enhance privacy and functionality. It opens directly to the lanai and includes a walk-in closet, soaking tub, and walk-in shower. Guest bedrooms are well-proportioned and positioned for comfort and separation. The detached guest house includes a private entrance, living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and backyard with elevated views. It has been fully renovated with new quartz countertops, a marble bath, and AC throughout. The property prioritizes efficiency with a photovoltaic system with EV charger hook up and a 2-car garage with added storage. It is conveniently located just minutes from Kapaʻa town, Wailua Homesteads Park, hiking, the Wailua dog park, and east side beaches.
